Role: Applied AI Architect

Overview: This is a remote, full-time role focused on helping organisations adopt and scale AI-native engineering practices. You will work across the full AI adoption lifecycle, from technical discovery and rapid prototyping through to production-ready implementations, combining software engineering, solution architecture, AI systems design, and transformation.


Key Responsibilities:

• Lead workshops and enablement sessions around AI-native development workflows

• Help engineering teams adopt modern AI coding assistants and collaborative AI tooling

• Guide teams in evolving their software development lifecycle, including code review, testing, documentation, governance, and requirements management

• Conduct technical discovery across engineering environments, workflows, and tooling

• Design implementation roadmaps, deployment strategies, and technical plans

• Advise on integrating AI into engineering and operational processes

• Co-build agentic applications and AI-powered systems

• Develop prototypes, deployment configurations, evaluation frameworks, and automation workflows

• Create technical specifications, implementation plans, and architectural documentation

• Work across cloud-native environments and modern engineering toolchains


Requirements:

• 3-5 years’ experience in a technical role such as Solutions Architect, Software Engineer, Technical Consultant, Sales Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, or Product Engineer

• Strong software engineering background with experience building and operating production systems

• Experience working with LLMs, agentic systems, prompt engineering, or evaluation frameworks

• Experience using AI coding assistants in real-world development environments

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native infrastructure, and modern SDLC practices

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP

• Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Comfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments


Nice to Have:

• Consulting or professional services experience

• Experience leading developer productivity or developer experience initiatives

• Exposure to regulated industries such as financial services or healthcare

• Experience driving organisational change or transformation programmes
